  • the Prom at the Karpeles Manuscript Museum that Professor Whiskey’s Traveling Bizarre Bazaar is hosting.

Signs from God

I’m pretty damned sure I’d closed the car door and turned off the headlights last night, and it’s not like the Egg has a lot of superfluous electronics, so a dead battery must be a sign from God to reduce my carbon footprint and try TriRail today. Fortunately, we have flexible hours. Unfortunately, I didn’t bring my work laptop home last night, so I can’t get an early start.

Experiment working well, however. Bus route picks up diagnolly across the street from our house, exchanges to a bus stop with my choice of whichever of three buses happens by next (zero wait time today, max 15min or less), and TriRail runs at around 20 minute intervals, so the biggest Catch is to get on that first bus, and not leave anything in my car that I’m fixing to need for work. Since my office is almost literally on top of the station, it’s looking pretty golden.

Bonus points for public transit in my area increasing my exposure to practical Kreyol usage.

Blue billboard of death

I wish I could get a picture of this but around exit 22 on I 95 is a billboard with the blue screen of death
